Re: Rye Pale Ale
I, too, like the ryes. They seem to have a bit of a bite and dryness. I also like my session beers, so, I am going to try both. This recipe started with an Ordinary Bitter, and substituted some rye. Thanks guys!
The last 10 minutes it is - dissolved in some hot wort. I was wondering about hop utilization, but, AlexLark answered that.

Re: INTRODUCING: Seymour Citra Dark
Thanks mbarn and demig, and thanks to Seymour for developing this beer. Think I will brew this the end of next month, so it will be ready when it cools, a bit, here in central Florida.

Brewers caramel & Invert Syrup
I have been looking into a lot of Mild recipes, recently, and many of them include Brewers Caramel (mostly for color?) and Invert Syrups #1,#2 and#3. What are these, and what are they used for. I would like to add each as an ingredient to BeerSmith, but don't know where to look for the specifics (SRM...

Oscar Wilde Mild/Born To Be Mild thread revival
I cannot find a mild here in the US, especially not in Florida. So, I thought I would look around your forum for some ideas, hints and recipes. I hope to get to the UK next year, and want to try some of the winning milds, so I was wanting to try to make some of them here, beforehand. Thanks to Seymo...
