I got some kegs and taps from Norm a while back. Now I have built myself a kegorater from a small chest freezer and built a collar around the top to raise the height. you could also try asking on your local freecycle. i did that and was given 4 old style kettles and 3 leads!

Seems to work quite well, its early days as its only been in the bottle a week now. The overal impression is an IPA style, its quite sweet, but I normally mash at 67 as I like body in a beer. Here is a recipe for a light beer I made a few weeks ago to use up some hops I had sitting around in the freezer for some time. I bottled it last weekend and cracked one open this evening - its a real cracker, sweet nice hop aroma and good balanced bitterness. IBUs are low for the level of hops, but...

I just had a taste and it is good!, I dont think it will ferment down much more either by the taste of it - initially sweet with a malty after taste, no hint of bitterness at all....
