Thanks,
I use dip tubes with those on the end for fermenter, and dip tubes in the kegs - haven't put the filters on the kegs as figured mk othing chunky should be getting through.
I'll get my spanner out

Blocked keg?
Hey guys haven’t been on here for while due to home life taking over. Gradually hoping to get back to it. Having trouble with keg pour, is just nothing Just did my 2nd AG batch on my new set up (gradually working on it for 2 years when I could - with the hope that bigger set up means less brew days ...

Re: Hose gun
Perfect, thanks.
I only found the rust after the old hose gun had started to leak, not enough to worry about for garden use, but annoying across the garage, so was going to look for a sprayer that I kept away from the little constantly dropping it.

Hose gun
Hi all. Has anyone researched/found a hozelock spray gun that's food safe? Ive just found the internal parts of mine have got rust on them, and giving off a rust sludge. Stupid design for a hose, I'd assumed that it was just plastic inside, but clearly not. I've been using it for a while, thankfully...

Re: New Fermzilla gen. 3 and ‘hop bong’
That looks like a massive improvement. My fermzilla unfortunately got chucked. I was leaking pressure/beer at the bottom, so naturally tightened it. Then it got jammed. Pressurising made it worse (didn't realise it was stuck when carbonating) and had to use 2 strap ratchets to undo it - but buckled ...

Re: Cip pump?
I have one of these submersible pumps. They’re fine for cool liquids/sanitizing, but tend to cut out as soon as the motor gets warm. Ideally, you want a pump that can handle hot liquids. A Blichmann RipTide pump is the best option, but not the cheapest. You could try a Chinese MP-15RM, but I’m not ...

Cip pump?
Hi all. I've seen some topics on here and other sites bit still trying to work it out. I want to build a little cip circulation for my 60l conical. I know some can't see the point, but it's such a pita getting it in and out of the fridge each time. I have one of keglands bucket blasters and had atta...

Re: Fermenter king gen 3?
It's rated to 2.4 bar/30 psi. I tested it up to 20psi and it was holding well.

Re: Fermenter king gen 3?
DSC_0684.JPG So I decided to give the fermenter king 3 a go. I got it from bottle 2 brew. It's the 60l version so will be looking at being able to direct comparison with the larger fermzilla. Just currently pressure testing before I give it a good clean. First impressions are really good. Some nigg...

Re: Fermenter king gen 3?
@orlando. It's the width and depth of my fridge thats the issue. As his 14 gal is imperial rather than us it's just that little bit to big. I've been upgrading my set up over the course of lockdown so now doing batches for 2 cornies. @ipa. I've always enjoyed fermenting under pressure. And also want...

Fermenter king gen 3?
Hi gang. Anyone have a fermenter king gen 3 - especially the 60l version. What's your views? I have a fermzilla and am completely f**ked off with the issues over a mix of either pressure leaks or stuck seals. So am looking at others. My first choice had been lardy/brewbuilders conical. But on checki...

Re: EQUIPMENT UPGRADE
On the separate subject. I've used Powell for both my herms hlt and boiler (my MT was from lardy/brewbuilder). Powell's stuff seems really good. My 100l boiler I was adding 2 3kw elements, he was really helpful over the phone, making sure they were the right heights for what I wanted/elements I was ...

Re: Keezer size suggestions please
I recently got a second hand chest freezer that will fit 6 kegs once I get around to a collar (last 2 on the shelf). It's 200L. But I spent quite a while looking at different sizes. Most 200l tended to be too narrow with the extra space being in the width. This one fits exactly 2 deep and 3 wide. I ...

Re: Temp probe length with quick disconnect
Thanks jocky. I had wondered, but thought the camlocks may be a bit cumbersome. But looks like it works well. And for the ease of all the spare bits I already have - definitely the way to go!
