Re: JG 7/16 FFL to 3/16 push fit

Well, when comparing their management with their government, I would say that Scott Morrison seems like a great guy. Blatant copies of other companies inventions, cutting every corner to cut costs while claiming it's for product improvements.

I switched to 3/16" OD tube years ago. Never considered changing back. 180 cm. Using the same for CO2.

Re: Keezer nearly finished what beer line cleaner should I get?

Interesting reading the comments here about disassembling taps to clean them. I bought these taps in a job lot off flea-bay a couple of years ago. They're different to most of the taps on the "new" market and the only similar ones I can find are "Roto taps". pump.jpg I've been using them for the be...

Re: Everything beer engine, polypins, cask and questions

Demand valves seems like a good idea, especially when pumping from a keg. Rather bulky though, and my setup is really tight. Does any of you know how the demand valves work?

Re: gas line size

Should be OK, I use 3/16" OD - 1/8" ID tubes without any problems.

Thanks.
It's anodised aluminium, some kind of hose barb, found it in a car parts online store.
It's intended for dispensing. Also works for counter pressure filling with keg to keg jumper tube.
Tight fit with the party keg rubber bung.

I made this some years ago, worked OK. Still converted to cornies. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201201/313f95ecb9c2a3fae54776eda9edcd4c.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201201/790c1001b63598d4dcebcc390809dba2.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20201201/af2778991c08126761bd7b8a91f61abd....

Interesting!
How much pressure would beer engines handle without leaking?
What primary CO2 pressure would you recommend?

I made this ball lock conversion many years ago, before converting to cornies..
