Boddingtons IP 1971

I’m curious if anyone’s brewed this? I’m getting ready to rack mine and noticed S04 on the bottom is in fairly large chunks. The stuff I used years ago looked like concrete on the bottom of the fermenter. I have taken a pic and will post when I get to my 5th post.

I’ve had zero problems with it. I’ve been brewing everything from British Golden Ales, Stouts and Best Bitter. I read a post on an American home brew forum where I guy claims he had 16 beers that were undrinkable using S04. I’m wondering if something happened and Fermentis changed the strain? I neve...
