Re: CO2 conditioning

So you reckon it could just be an ambient temp increase that due to the minimal head space (on a newly filled keg) is pushing back into the regulator? I would suggest that a non return on the gas line would be a good investment. I'm not sure exactly what happened (I know one keg was slightly overfi...

Re: Smugglers Special

Product consolidation or something like that. This sounds like it could be similar? I actually have a Smugglers in my 2nd keg, due to be tapped in about 4 or 5 days. https://www.hamsteadhomebrew.co.uk/Inn-Keepers-Reserve-Buccaneers-Bounty-Amber-Ale I've not done one yet but it's on it shopping list ...

Re: Party tap barb to push fit pipe

With a balanced system I find that party taps work well enough. What would you say is the benefit of a flow control tap over a balanced line?

Party tap barb to push fit pipe

Hi all

Does anyone know the size of the pipe that pushes onto the barb of a party tap? The other end of it goes into a push fit. I'll try to measure it tomorrow but if anybody knows in advance I'd be grateful.
I've sprung a leak by the way so need to cobble something together asap

Closest CML match for Muntons gold

Hi all As the title. I've "inherited" a few Muntons kits and am interested which CML yeast would be a best match for the gold yeast that accompanies the kit. I hope it's not 4 as I've never been a fan. There's something about it that never tastes quite right, to me anyway. I have used a single 6g sa...
