I am not sure about emulating the stand yet - but it is a good idea to use the induction hob for initial heat and boil then let the element take over - I only need 1 hole in the pot and less elements to clean

I am going to use a 15 gallon SS brew tech pot and I have ordered a custom made basket with a lid from Utah biodiesel - I have a new grainfather controller kicking about so will probably pair it with an element.

I was lucky - the chiller was free as it was being thrown out. I then just added the LEDs, light box and wired in an stc1000 and heater I think you can pick them up for around £150 if you look on ebay.

I do and it is excellent - it can go cold it will actually turn stuff icy - I have a small heat tube in there as well and it will hold the temp of the beer bang on. I crash cool in mine aswell.
