For the tap you can drill through the rubber handles on the corni and then mount the tap.You may find a thin metal plate within the handle(iirc) so be careful!

The spent grain from my brewdays gets collected by a mate for the 2 horses he has and the hops go to the compost bins at the local school.As I now have a new neighbour who has 3 pitbull type dogs(which are wrecking my fence) and 4 new puppies some of the hops may get diverted

Make sure the o-ring on the stopper hasnt moved though, as the flow doesnt stop when it has

I've just finished a beaverdale pinot grigio and can confirm there is a good chance your mum and bro' will be going thirsty!!! Thats good to hear as I started the Pinot Grigio kit last week and its sat in the FV bubbling away quite merrily.I also added the oak chippings/dust to the Shiraz last week...

Glad i'm not the only one! Probably serves me right for trying to be too clever. I am gonna stick to my old ways of brewing in future and ignore these new fangled inventions like a hydrometers :D Wasnt it your tastebuds that let you down rather than the hydrometer though, as you said that the sweet...

What bottles are you using(glass or pet) and also what type of closures?You may have dodgy seals(its a long shot on all of them not being sealed ok though??).

Strange thing tho was had a very vigorous boil throughout the first 75 minutes and actually experienced my first boil over #-o What factors can cause that :?: I used US goldings for hops for the first time. Beaverdale wine kits
After lots of goading from my Mum and Brother I have agreed to make some wine for them in the form of Beaverdale Shiraz 30 bottle wine kit. The only question I have so far is do I need to do any water treatment ie Camden tablet or pre boiling the water?Any help would be appreciated as they both seem...
