Hello Brewers

Post by drdaparker » Tue Oct 17, 2023 9:47 am

I've found myself "between jobs"/retired and have picked up the brewing again. I did my first brew in 1985, but I got out of the routine. I'm probably not going to venture too far away from beer kits, but I am looking to get a bramble wine going soon, having foraged a load of brambles. I'm probably going to splash out on a beer engine and see if I can get that working with homebrew beer in polypins. I like the real ale style of conditioning and don't want to be messing cornies and CO2 supply. Hoping to pick up some good tips from the forum. Thanks for having me on board.

Welcome Stan.

Sounds like you have plenty to be getting on with for now!

A beer engine is a great idea. We'll have to see if we can tempt you to try some tinkering with malt extracts or even just kit modding. :)

1x buffalo boiler from ebay and a net curtain, you'll be all grain in no time!
