UK source for chestnut chips?

Post by ttmooney » Sun Jan 06, 2013 4:06 am

Chestnut chips seem to be all the rage for GF beers. I'd like to give it a go for one of my gluten-intolerant friends, but I can't seem to find a UK supplier, just a very few places in the USA.

I guess I could make chips by breaking up dried chestnuts, but if it's work that can be avoided, I'd prefer it.

Anyone out there have any ideas?

i have had a look around and health food shops do a few chestnut options, puree and flour might be an idea.
