I managed to buy 1k of Caravienna instead of Vienna Malt

So now looking for ideas on how I might use this up. Really only interested in ales so no lager style options please. Also I would be interested in the specs on this malt so I can put it into BeerSmith, things like SG potential and yield %, I so far have assumed it would be similar to a crystal like caramalt but would like some confirmation.
I am "The Little Red Brooster"
Fermenting:
Conditioning:
Drinking: Southwold Again,
Up Next: John Barleycorn (Barley Wine)
Planning: Winter drinking Beer

Which maltster is it from?
I use it for body/mouthfeel. It has a nice "chewy" caramel taste and aroma.

The Beersmith spec for caravienna is
HERE.
It is just another crystal/caramel malt. I would be tempted to use it in a simple english style pale ale along with the base pale malt that you have and light/moderate hopping. I don't think I would use it in a US style hop-bomb if I wanted to pick up any character from the caravienna.

Thanks for that Jimp, I did have it in my list but the EBC rating was different to what the Malt Miller gave so thought I would check it for other differences.

Then I assume it is from Dingemans.

Thanks again. Your right about lack of specificity. I would love all the grains I buy to have analysis as part of the labelling, probably not make a great deal of diference but as the food industry is finding out the public are getting a little cheesed off about what they are and are not being told.
