2nd brew with Golden Promise malt (BIAB). Seems like it forms doughballs much worse than other malts I've used (normally Rahr 2-row). Is it just the humidity this summer or have others encountered this?!

From my limited experience of several brews each with both golden promise and Maris Otter in a Grainfather, I did not notice any difference in stickiness, or extraction efficiency between the two.
The freshness of the milled malt may be an issue?

It can also be the crush. Too fine a crush is likely to cause clumping.
