Ray Ashworth, creator of the recipe, used to post on here and says it is progress, goldings and styrians for the late soak. I've used these and it certainly tastes similar to the real thing but my taste buds are hardly refined.

This is a good recipe although mine came out too bitter. I ordered the progress hops online and they came as a youngs packet with doesn't have the AA on, which is annoying. The smell from the primary was amazingly fruity, and tasted very strongly of grapefruit, this unfortunatly faded pretty quickly upon kegging. Next time I would take down the bitterness a bit.

Re: Which Hops in Wherry?
I was just thinking that a little extra hopping/ dry hopping the Wherry kit might improve it a bit more for the next time I brew one.
Re: Which Hops in Wherry?
Ah I see, well that would definatly be the case in my opinion. Go with the styrians for that then, goldings if you can't get them.
