Northern hops

Hello guys,

Just got back home today(10minutes ago). Priority correct. Check hops take photos and ask question!

This is the 1st year i have grown so i'm not sue what size hops flowers should get to. A couple of photos with a pound coin for size reference. Do these look full grown?

They look ok to me but i'd like someone elses advice. Very surprised i got any. 1st year plant and living north of Aberdeen!

Hops can be any size, depending on the variety, growing conditions etc. They are ready to be picked if they are very papery feeling and maybe starting to go slightly brown on the edges. Incidentaly I picked mine today and got 350g of challenger, my progress hops didn't fair too well and there were only a few flowers and they went very brown.

Nice one on 350G, Guess mine are ready to pick then. I'll pick them while brewing my B&T today.
