Thanks Steve I shall use 0.3 per litre. I did not realise I just need Gypsum in the mash goods and not in the total liqour I shall mash on sunday. Can't wait. Thanks again for the help.I have messed up the first 10 kilo's of pale malt from my 25kg bag so I have 15kg to get it right .

Thanks Steve for your help I am going to mash on sunday using 0.3 ml of CRS per litre and 15ml of Gypsum split between dry goods and mash liqour and feel quite confident. Thanks again for pointing out about not going back to zero with the alk. I am going to try a basic bitter 7lbs maris otter and 250grm crystal malt.I have 15 kilo's left in the sack to try and get it right. If not I shall use my CRS to make battery acid
