does anyone here add hops straight to the pint to make it that extra bit special sometimes?
was just wondering whats your favourite hop/ale combos?
Hops in the glass
Re: Hops in the glass
I would think that adding hops to a pint wouldn't give them long enough to release their aroma. What I do is finish the primary fermentation, transfer to a Better Bottle, add whole hops, leave for a week then bottle. If barrelling I just add the hops when I barrel.

I seem to remember one of the US small breweries had made a device that held hops between the keg and the tap....

You are correct, As seen in the Building a Hop Back thread on here there is this link to an inline filter system that you can put between your keg and your tap.richc wrote:I seem to remember one of the US small breweries had made a device that held hops between the keg and the tap....
