I Love Chinook!!

I Love Chinook!! There ye go - I said it! Controversial I know!!

I've had some debate over this hop on Jim's. Barley water describes it as chewing on a pine tree infused with grapefruit, but I made a Celebration Ale and dry hopped it with Chinook recently and I love it so much I woke up with a bad head and 3 or 4 hours of lost life after the pub last night. It is 5.2% though, but so quaffable! Several asprin later I am secretly lookin forward to my next celebration ale!!

Even though it's a month old, the dry hopped chinook is keeping this beer more than interesting!

I love Chinook!! It's in your face!! What a great hop!

I made an all Chinook AIPA and it was fantastic. A definite grapefruit bomb that mellowed with time.
