I picked up these 2016 hops when Malt Miller were doing a clear out.
Anyone brewed with them before? Should they be mixed or used with something different (I have some first gold that could mix with them).
I would like to put together an english Pale Ale / Bitter style that showcases the hops, and I am wondering what the hops will do, whether I should go very pale, or big up the background maltiness.
Does anyone know any commercial beers that really showcase these hops strengths?
Boadicea, Olicana hops - best use?

Olicana is supposed to be England's answer to Cascade etc. Er, it isn't. However, it is a fairly nice hop in its own right so I would do a SMASH with it to really get to know it.

I've brewed a few single hop brews with Boudicea either all pale malt or with a small amount of crystal. Makes a nice bitter.

Think I am settling on a pale/low colour style, like all pale malt with some light crystal, to about 45 gravity, then early hop with Boadicea, and late hop with Olicana.
Wondering should I reserve some for Dry hopping?
Was thinking about using the Lallemand ESB yeast for this, any thoughts? I heard it can be a low attenuator, which could make for an unpredictable FG/IBU ratio.
Cant use liquid strains atm and I want to try out some english yeasts with a bit more character than nottingham.

Given Olicana is grown for aroma a dry hop is a must in my view.
