Shame about the postage, it's working out about £4 for 100g, Barley Bottom can do better than that in many cases

Go for it then, vacuum packed and stored in the freezer is a good sign, add to that pellets store very well.

The copper utilisation is higher so you use 80% of the weight for bittering. Keep the aroma additions the same.

Also they may clog your hop strainer if you use a copper manifold... using some whole hops along with the pellets will help filter them.

Or search for 'hopstopper' for an idea of a strainer that will filter pellets. Or you can create a whirlpool to create a cone of trub and hops in the middle and syphon off from the side.

Meaning that if the recipe cals for say 10 grams you should only use 8 if its for pellets?

good to know.
