I have been asked to make some guys a beer from uni. An IIPA and normally I love simcoe in them but no shops have any to be found.

Thrifty are showing it in stock; I got some from there a few weeks ago.
Not too sure about them though as they were short on my last order and although they said they would correct it after a phone call, nothing ever arrived.
Otherwise, let me know how much you are looking for.

Well, as a result of my earlier post, Thrifty contacted me to explain that the replacement for the missing hops must have been lost in the post.
I had not bothered to follow it up a second time as it was only 100gms short and a 100gm bag which had lost it's label.
They had obviously kept all the details and offered to send out 2x 100gms again.
This morning they arrived - plus a significant amount extra.
This was well beyond my expectations and all I can say is "thanks very much Thrifty!"
The Simcoe will soon be finding their way into a Columbus IPA and a Punkish.
