Galaxy Hops

After a recent trip to Australia I have fallen in love with Galaxy hops! The Aussies put them in everything and there's a good reason for that - they are gorgeous.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on some in the UK, without getting them shipped in from the land down under!

What were the other new hops you mentioned when I was in collecting from you the other day Rob? Was one of them Summer?

Summit, maybe?
Widmer Brewing makes a pale ale with summit hops.
I got some with the intent of using them in an amber ale. Glacier is another fairly new hop that is pretty good.

No I am sure it was Summer and also Stella possibly both of which are Australian varieties like the Galaxy.

Summer Saaz is probably the name you are thinking of.

I have just added the Galaxy.

The other two are indeed Summer and Stella, I also have NZ Super Alpha. All details to follow.

Hello all.
I have been looking at trying a few brews with these hops but being such a tight arse i realy cannot bear to spend Â£5.80 for 100g plus the postage . I have however found them to be alot cheaper if i buy in bulk ie 5kg . The company that sells them is on my doorstep so collection is not a problem . I would be happy to buy them and split into say 500g lots at cost plus the postage . Would anyone out there be interested ?
