Polaris Hops

Anyone used Polaris Hops at all? They have a high AA of arount 20% and are described as: "Polaris, with its fruity and refreshing hint of “Glacier Mints” effect, is very convincing."

Not sure I am convinced that I want a glacier mint flavour in my beer but who knows?

They are on Ebay HERE

Didn't think of mint, it was more like fresh cooling sensation, sharp to some extent. Very nice.

That sounds a bit more appealing. Probably best in lighter beers like blondes or lagers do you think?

Tasted it in my friend's PA, ~15 ebc, 1.048, ~40 IBU, dry hopped with 40 gms. Single hop. Yes, I think it suits pale beers. :)

Over 20%? If the hop growers get much more AA you won't be measuring out hops by the gram but by the pellet. :)
I'm just here for the beer.
