Had anyone read this :

The New IPA: Scientific Guide to Hop Aroma and Flavor https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/0578477866/ ... DZPNC1KXX3

Thoughts? Cannot decide?

I’ve got it, although not read all of it yet.
There is some very interesting stuff in there but quite a lot of the studies in it relate to very specific things eg results based upon experiments only done with one specific hop, so it is very hard to then say that applies in general. There is food for thought and ideas for experimentation in there though.
