Brewlab strains

Post by BitterTed » Thu Jan 22, 2015 10:52 pm

I purchased 2 slopes from Brewlab, Sussex and Kent. From what I have seen the Sussex is the Harvey's strain, does anyone know what the Kent strain is? My guess is Shepherd Neame ? Thanks in advance!!

Brewlabs Sussex 1 is HALF of the Harvey's strain from what I've read - Harveys is a Dual/Multi strain - several people have used sussex to try and make a Harvey's Best clone and failed; none have cracked it without using actual brewery sourced yeast.

Id say SN is a likely guess tho for Kent.
