Bragdy Conwy?

Post by vacant » Sun Jul 05, 2020 4:27 pm

I'm planning my next brew which includes popping into Morrison's some time for a couple of bottle-conditioned beers. Proper Job is the one I normally step up but I see they're currently stocking "Riptide" and "California" from Bragdy Conwy Brewery. Both bottle-conditioned but has anyone stepped up and brewed with this yeast?

Wilko's Gervin Ale Yeast has gone up to £2 per pack :(

Had a look at their website. They appear to be a micropub so I would be surprised if they are not just using dried yeast such as Nottingham or US-05.

Fair enough, couldn't see their beer in store so the brew has been going great guns with the dregs from two Proper Jobs.

I've used Proper Job yeast a few times myself. Works well.
