Had a bit of a slow start.
At the 24 hour mark, but going good now.

I'm not worried, I've used it before. It ended up going from 1.048 to 1.007 by day four.Northern Brewer wrote: ↑Wed Nov 11, 2020 1:03 amDon't worry about it - BRY-97 is notorious for being one of the slowest-starting yeasts around.

Is that a 2.5 gallon carboy? Not long after I bought one, around 1997 or so, they stopped making them.
Sommeliers recommend that you swirl a glass of wine and inhale its bouquet before throwing it in the face of your enemy.

I picked up a couple of these from a liquidation store in Portland, OR back in the late 90s.
I'm just here for the beer.

That's when I bought mine, but from a local home-brew shop and was informed by the owner not long after that they were no longer being made anywhere.
