Was in Sainsbury's today, and noticed they've reduced the price of their cheapo apple juice to just 49p! So, I've bought 20 of them! Plus a Young's cider kit at Wilkinson's!

If I put 2 and 2 together do you think I'll get SUPER CIDER? Or do you think the preservatives will kill the yeast?

I've made TC before with ASDA apple juice but we're talking £20.00 here! What do you think?

Do you think I should add some sugar too, or will the kit + 20L of juice be enough?

You'll get THC.

Does it have preservatives in it then? I thought the sainsburys stuff didn't.

I'd make it up without any sugar to say 19 litres. Check the OG and if it's suitable for you don't add any or if you want it to come out a bit higher dissolve some sugar in the remaining apple juice and add it to target.

I must get round to making a THC. I hear they're very tasty

Yeah, 19 litres sounds about right. I'll add a little sugar if the gravity is too low. I'll prime with the remaining litre (plus a little sugar for more fizz).

I know TC is Turbo Cider but THC?

One version is Turbo Hybrid Cider (ie cider kit with added apple juice).

The other I suspect is rather naughtier
