How to make friends and influence people

Post by timothio » Sun May 24, 2009 2:17 am

Had a couple of mates round tonight, after me telling them of my new found homebrew hobby they were itching to sample my wares.

The beer (lager) went down like a lead balloon, general consensus was that it looks and tastes "funny" (???), but my 2 TC's (one bog standard and one with added blackberries, both based on Dreadskins wonderful recipe) went down a dream!! Once the cold ones from the fridge were had, the warm ones were consumed too. I'm now down to my last bottle of each...

So, how to make friends, influence people, and end up pi$$ed as a fart and suffering a savage hangover morning after? Get a couple of TC's on the go!! Seems I'm gonna have to give up the 5 litre DJ's and start on the 5 gallon FV's if I want to keep "entertaining" my guests...

p.s. Its 2am and I'm having a bit of trouble typing this post because my head's all over the show and my eyes are seeing too many of everything... Happy days!!

Hi Dreadskin,
I have made 2 TC now the first without apple and that turned out crystal clear the 2nd one with grated apple and it has remained cloudy does that sound about right.
As far as punk goes what a great era. One of my favorites has to be Bodies by the pistols never fails to get me wailing.

Had a filthy head on me yesterday morning, wish someone had warned me that aswell as fabulous nights in, TC can also cause savage morning afters... I had trouble conquering breakfast, let alone the universe. The only solution was, of course, to go on another bender yesterday... Went to the pub and discovered some lovely "summer fruits" flavoured cider, cant remember what it was called, but it was from Sweden, bright red, and tasted just like lovely fruity squash. I lost count of how many pints I had... Very dangerous stuff... Finally rolled in at 4am. And felt extra rough this morning.

Well, we listened to Leonard Cohen very loudly, does that count?

titanium tone, that sounds about right. if you leave the bramley one it will clear out over time but there is no need.

as for the hangovers, i find sometimes i can drink a load of it and be ok, and sometimes i can be destroyed for 2 days. i wonder if there is a pintage type limit or rather ledge or cliff that only irresponsible TC drinkers dander over? curious? any comment?

and as for leonard... im sayin nothin...
