Lavender Wine

Hi,

I have got a sheath of Lavender drying out in my conservatory.

It smells lovely and then I thought that maybe I could get a gallon out of it?

Has anyone tried it or got a recipe?

I have a book at home that MUST have a lavender wine recipe in it - I will have a look later.

Well, I got it on the go last night!

spent hours picking the flowers off the stems!

Covered them with water and brought to the boil

Poured into FV. When cooled, added a crushed camden and sugar, will leave overnight before adding other ingredients and pitching yeast.

The steam this gave off made my eyes water!
