Has any body got a recipe for raspberry whisky?

Had some a few years back and it was lovely. I can remember them saying it was made the same way as sloe gin with fruit and sugur.

my old wine book to the rescue again



SLOE GIN

half fill a 1 kilo clean preserving jar with a screw on lid with pricked cleaned sloes ,adding 125g of castor sugar,and fill with dry gin.
shake the jar daily until the sugar is dissolvedand the liquid has taken on a dark colour .
10mls of almond essence can be added after two weeks .
Leave the sloes in the jar for two months in all ,shaking up fairly often ,
when the gin is to be bottled ,preferably in a half size liquer bottle ,the liquid must be run througha linen or a filter to ensure all particles which would otherwise mar the clarity are kept from the bottle .

i assume the raspberrys replace the sloes
and maybe whiskey instead of gin
although raspberry gin sounds good

If it's basically the same recipe as sloe gin, but it's made with raspberries, sugar and whiskey, then google for sloe gin and pick one of the recipes to work out the basic ratio of sugar to fruit and then top it off with the cheapest scotch you can get (the cheapest will be if you make it yourself - excluding the cost of the still it works out about £3 per 750mls).

Hell you might even find a "proper" recipe for it....
