elderfour cider kit

i have said kit on the go ,
according to the destructions once reading is below 1000 it is ready to rack and add flavourings says 7-10 days
but mine is at 996 after 5 days and no movment in the air trap since sunday night
does this mean i chould rack it in to another barell and add flavouring now
and it smells weird hard to describe is it normal to have a very strong smell

Hey yeah will prob smell like rotten eggs im doing exact same kit at mo.All magnum kits seem to stink up the place.sounds like your ready to rack it off and add the flavouring.
