House hold sugar or brewing sugar

Making some flavoured alcohol from an Alcotec kit and was wondering which is best brewing sugar or granulated sugar, or is there a difference

I've always just raided the pantry for some sugar. But don't use it that often.

When I've used the turbo triple distilled yeast I always used plain white sugar.

I have quite a bit of brewing sugar if i used this would it have any bad effects on it.
