just seen this too late. where abouts are you? what quantity are you making? i've just started a perry kit, but am thinking of trying the pressing method maybe next year, if I find out where to source apples etc. I'm in Bangor.

well mate, im in belfast so next year its on. basically there are tonnes of unwanted apple trees all round the place, in waste ground, public parks, graveyards etc etc. the main difficulty is getting people to collect. more people lookin out will mean more cider for those that HELP! lol ive pressed 50ltrs so far and im only a quater of the way thru. what ya think?

Good for you DREADSKIN, I love to see things like this.

Lots and lots of apples going to waste round here this year too.....seems to have been a bumper crop.
I'm going to make sure I can get access to a press next year.

Have fun with your cider :D
