Youngs Cider Yeast

Post by MrBarrySir » Fri Jan 28, 2011 2:01 am

Hi all,

Using the above yeast in my TC, in my latest batch I got an SG reading of something mad like 1074. Will the yeast ferment this down to 1.000 ish or will it taste sweet when done?

Also, roughly what is the max % that Youngs cider yeast will produce?

Cheers,
B

I've used Youngs and was impressed, mine fermented down to around 1000 and was quite dry.
