Smiffy here with another off the wall question, I was looking to make another brew some time this week and was thinking of adding 1.5ish KGs of potatoes

I will as usual be using a step mash 40º-55º-66ºish using my RIMS
has any one had any brewdays with pots in and if so with what type Whites, reds, Sweet, new or other?
I dont want the pots to be the main flavor just to add another element to the brew so I can put a tick in the box and say do it again or stay away.
also what do you think Dark, mid or a light beer style?
