Coopers Ginger Beer Priming Advice

Post by AceMcAce » Thu Jun 30, 2011 2:28 pm

I've got a bucket of the Coopers Ginger beer sat in my FV at the minute, and will probably be bottling it this weekend or the weekend after. I know that some people have slated this kit, but I want to give it a try anyway and them make my own from scratch so I can compare the two.

Can anyone give me advice on how much table sugar to use to batch prime this kit brewed at 20L? The only advice about priming on the pack is to use carb drops, and I'd rather save my money. At the same time, I don't want flat GB, or exploding glass bottles.

Cheers
Mark

Carb drops are about 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar each, so I would just follow the guidelines and substitute household sugar. :)
