In all seriousness - to anyone who isnt Trunky - Last years CAMRA national cider of the year from "virtual orchard" was made from a blend of cookers and eaters. Also, lots of Mr Whiteheads ciders which are highly acclaimed, are made from very simple supermarket type apple varieties.

...I can put away good cider with the best of them.
Dont insinuate i have poor taste - You may have been making cider for 25 years, but in 25 years time i could be making cider for your kids - best play nicely or i may even sling a rat in for nitrate.
