bored yesterday day off and both fv full (Ditchs stout and Wilkos Newkie Brown) so knocked this up in 3 gall wine bucket
1200g liquidised currants
38ml bottle vanilla exract
pot glace cherries chopped
500g white sugar
jar strawberry jam!!!
all boiled for 20 mins
made upto 3 gallons kit yeast from wilkos newkie( used gervin in that brew)
its very cloudy but is fizzing
any comments?? feels like I've made a cake!!
