Is this normal?
It went mad for 2 days, like bubbling every 1 or 2 secs...but now now on day 3 theres nothing at all.
Anyone reckon it's finished? Bear in mind i have to work with temperatures a lot higher than u got there at the mo....so could this be the reason? If so..what should i do?
Thanks guys
Neil
Fermenting TC...but over in 2 days??
Check the SG with a hydrometer, anything below 1010 and it's done
What is your average room temperature?
An ideal temp would be about 18 degrees C as this will allow the TC to have a slightly smoother flavour over one that cooked itself to death
you could try making yourself a brew cupboard with an AC unit attached to keep the temps stable

Hi there,
I am doing my 4 th Turbo cider and all my ones have finnished doing the bizz in about 2-3 days, I was worried the first time, but after Curious re-assured me it was o.k I got over it and give it a whirl.
I am in Mexico so the temps are quite tasty here as well.
Stuff goes berrrrrrserk for the first 24 hours then fizzes its nuts off for another day or so and thats it, all done.
This particular one I have on at the moment I have added some Gelatin to it and its now in a secondary to see if it makes nay difference. I am using bread yeast so I hope to find that the gelatin will hold the bugger to the bottom.
regards
G
