first tc underway

9 ltrs lidli apple juice
400 grms clear honey
8 oz brewing sugar
2 pkts cider yeast( 1 each dj)
1/2 tsp yeast nutrient
1 cinnimon stick ach well its the festive season why no
1060 og not too high but how far will it drop
now awaiting lift off

will be bound for a cornie and some c02 later next year

Welcome to the dirty side of brewing sandy115 :lol: :lol:
Your TC should drop to 1.000 easily and will probably go as low as .995.
If you are force carbing in a corny then leave when it has finished fermenting then place it somewhere cold for another couple of weeks to allow as much sediment as possible to drop out(honey can be a real bugger to clear,even though you have used clear honey!!) then rack into a corny.

ho ho ho will do, mind you its not to murky just now ,but extremly sweet, 4 hrs into the brew strong signs of fermentation, the thought of this going into a corney, ho ho manky magners wont have a look in regards sandy :D :D :D

It will be very dry and approx 8-8.5% ABV.....Enjoy :twisted:

It might be an idea to chuck a jar of honey in the cornie before you fill it.

perplexed no great signs of fermintation a bubble or two per min,no earth moving ferms here watching and waiting was looking for volcanic eruptions more the odd ploop, [-o< [-o<

TC fermentation is often quite understated. Check its gravity in a few days.

the beast is awakening,it reminds me of that programme about the looneys that chase tornadoes,the demis are getting very cloudy and turbulent with a steady stream of bubbles :D :D :D :D
