Re: first tc underway
Welcome to the dirty side of brewing sandy115
Your TC should drop to 1.000 easily and will probably go as low as .995.
If you are force carbing in a corny then leave when it has finished fermenting then place it somewhere cold for another couple of weeks to allow as much sediment as possible to drop out(honey can be a real bugger to clear, even though you have used clear honey!!) then rack into a corny.

Re: first tc underway
It might be an idea to chuck a jar of honey in the cornie before you fill it.
Re: first tc underway
perplexed no great signs of fermintation a bubble or two per min,no earth moving ferms here watching and waiting was looking for volcanic eruptions more the odd ploop,

Re: first tc underway
TC fermentation is often quite understated. Check its gravity in a few days.
Re: first tc underway
will do ,why the honey in the corney, i was thinking if its too dry some sweetex might do the trick.
Re: first tc underway
the beast is awakening,it reminds me of that programme about the looneys that chase tornadoes, the demis are getting very cloudy and turbulent with a steady stream of bubbles
