I have a confession to make: I've just made a batch of elderflower cordial. Yup, a non-alcoholic beverage. Well, I figure I am now producing booze more quickly than I am consuming it, so something else would be good, and by 'eck it's nice. The missus is going to love this stuff. I managed to find some really good flowers the other day.
Should I be doing penance now?
Mind you, come the elderberry season, I'm not going to miss that opportunity for winemaking. There aren't many sources of free ingredients for a good red wine.

Dear, oh dear...
Its sackcloth and ashes time for you my friend. Oh, and 20 Hail Mary's might help.

Re: More Elderflowers
I make cordial every year, but I use it as a mixer in me whiskey.

Oh dear, I think I now no longer have to worry about being the greatest sinner around here!johcharly wrote:I make cordial every year, but I use it as a mixer in me whiskey.

But yes, Dreadskin, I'll have some TC to make up for it (I was drinking IPA while making the cordial!), and tomorrow evening I am planning to start up either another batch of TC or an ale. I just haven't made my mind up yet.
