hi i just about to do this!

750 grams sugar
1 litre bottle strawberry ribena
1 litre asda cranberry juice

mixed sugar with ribena (and some of the cranberrie juice) and boiled gently for 15 mins in a pan to allow any preservatives to boil off and then skimmed scum off.

added a litre of cold water toMdemijohn, and the rest of the carton of cranberrie juice.
then added the sugar / ribena / cranberrie mix to the demijohn and topped up with water (to the shoulder only!)

allowed to cool to room temp
Then added :-
1 teaspoon of youngs yeast
1 teaspoon of youngs nutrient

SG 1.100

Made ribena wine last november and bottled last weekend after 16 weeks in dj even though could have bottled before, lovely rose type wine ideal for the summer well chilled, got the recipe of here somewhere but dont have the link sorry. In asda last weekend all flavours of ribena down to £1 a bottle for 1.5l so stocked up on a few for the next time i have a dj available. Do a search on here and i am sure you will find the recipe.
