Just pitched the yeast on my experiment in turbo cider.
I boiled up 1l of the applejuice with a dash of cinnamon, a tablespoon of muscovado for colour, and a little splash of glucose.

The OG was 1042. It's been in for about 20 minutes or so i should think, and it's already pushing the airlock fluid (some leftover iodine) all over the counter top.

I think the fact that i used powdered cinnamon instead of a stick helped a lot to be honest. As soon as the temperature raised and the powder dropped into suspension, the colour deepened a lot. The muscovado was like dropping ink into a bowl of water almost, and i only used a tablespoon!
