Dreadskin, im doing your big batch 20ltr receipe, How long does yours take for the grated apples to fall out ? Also i notice people using a mug of tea 3 bags for a 1 gallon batch, is it a mistake that your only using a mug with 3 bags for this big batch? should it not be 4 mugs and 12 bags?

I wouldn't worry too much about adding tea. 3-4 bags well steeped should give enough tannin to help out.
My question would be : How do you airate 20-25 litres of juice before pitching?

Sanitized paint mixer on the end of a drill would be my answer

i is back... sorry about the delay. aye if doin a 20 ltr vat 4-6 teabags in a pot left for 1/2 hour will do the trick. as for airating the juice use a funnel or pour the juice from a high spot so it spashes as it goes in. if u are using a big water bottle a good bit of rocking back and forward would do it too. i use a funel and it seems to do the trick. as for the bramleys, they will fall out after about 3 weeks, or when they are good and ready. then rack off and top up with more juice.
