There used to be a link to a good forum dealing with home winemanking - seems to have gone now.

This seems to be a very popular recipe which is a fast wine to ferment and become drinkable.
I have not tasted it yet myself, but I do have 10L fermenting right now.
Using fruit takes a lot of time for the wine to finish fermenting and conditioning, which takes patience, so try experimanting with some fruit juice wines with cheap cartons of 100% fruit concentrrate juices from Aldi/Lidl.

I do make a very successful Vimto and apple wine which goes down very well with all that have tried it.
