Just made a recipie and not to sure what the end product will be like but the first taste was out of this world, I used.
10 Sainsburys Basic Lemons ( squeezed )
x 2KG Sugar
400grams Fresh raspberrys
4.5l water
just over 1/2 tsp yeast
same again yeast enhancer
boiled up 2l of water with lemon juice and most sugar, used rest of suger to mulch raspberrys and simmered for about 20min, sived and then put in demi and topped up with water.
If it comes out right ill let you know if not great summer drink without the yeasty stuff

you might have gone overboard with the lemons... keep us informed how this turns out as it sounds like a nice mix.

well this was a lemonade recipe that I found and added the raspberrys to it and a bit more sugar and messed about with it a bit, I know it sounds like a lot of lemons but they were the little basic ones, I think there may of been just under a pint of lemon juice to 5 liters. It should be ready in about 4 weeks ill let you know.
Normal lemonade though is
1 cup lemon juice
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
dissolve all together and heat, then add 4 - 5 cups to dilute

I done a 2l hard lemonade with 8 lemons and in its ealry stage it was mouthpuckeringly nice, but the later stage it developed a really different mellow mouthfeel which I didn't appreciate.
Also, it cami in at around 10% and although it went down well, then next day I was a right evil b*stard because of it.

I hope you have some busy yeasties, I tried that ratio and took me about 4 weeks to fement out
and found sugar falling to the bottom of my DJ becuase the solution was just too rich.
Dont worry about too many lemons or too much sugar, time will fix both!

Its tasting very good , will be drinking Saturday , I will put one more small punnet of crushed raspberrys in on saturday , slight bit more sugar syrup as some of the taste has gone and chill down for at least 3 hours before drinking, might be a bit dizzy at the end of the night as it seems very strong not sure on actual alcohol content though
