i`ve noticed on a few threads, that some of you guys use brewers sugar. I have never heard of it.
1. What eaxactly is it?
2. Does it make a difference in taste to other sugars?
3. Is it easily available from homebrew stores?

I think it may also be known as corn sugar, its ok for priming but i wouldnt use it in great amounts to strengthen a kit or extract brew as it will effect the taste somewhat(and not in a good way as i understand!) IMO!
Most HB shops would stock it i imagine!

1. It's glucose
2. No not really it just ferments a little quicker and drier, if you use too much of any sugar the taste suffers.
3. Yes. It is also available from chemists shops if you get stuck 8)

My homebrew shop sells it at 3 kilos for £1, can't say fairer than that.
