Its All going Pop

I just bottled a wine kit and for some reason all the corks are poping out, anyone have a clue why?

Did you degass it?
Had it finished fermenting? Wines can go as low as 0.994
Did you use a fermentation stabiliser?
Have you put the bottles somewhere warmer?

I degased it a number of times.

Yes fermenting was done and racked off into a third FV a week before bottling to help clearing, SG was 0.994.

Yes I did use a stabiliser.

The bottles that poped where in my kitchen...the corks blew within 10-20 minutes of being bottled!! none have blown since the OP.

prolly put it down to an increase in temperature during the day then.
I tend to bottle wines around midday so temps will only ever go down and cause a vacume rather than a pressure.
Store them somewhere cold directly after corking.

it doesn't matter how many times it was stirred/aerated during the ferment etc, if it wasn't de-gassed before bottling, then Gezzah's suggestion is the most likely....

I followed the destructions and de-gassed it when I was told to do so..In future I'll de-gassedjust before bottling it.

In better news...my 19 year old too some to her friends tonight and said....
Daddy your wine is fit
Wish she'd use real English but I'll take that.
