Using lemon juice for ginger beer?

Was thinking of trying a GB, just Ginger + Lemon juice, i had the bright idea to use juice as thought it would be simpler than squeezing lemons, the bottle of juice says it does have preservatives though(potassium metabisulphite), i take it this will be no use then?

This metabi.... will kill the yeast ust like our CTs d.
Needs to be boiled just the same as for Ribena and similar.

So your saying that if i boil the lemon jiuce it will remove the preservatives ? I was planning on boiling everything first anyway.
