Wine in bubbler

Hi peeps, new on here,

Just started a Elderberry 6 bottle kit 2 days a go, and noticed wine showing in bubbler is this normal..

This can happen with a vigorous fermentation.

Best thing is to clean out the airlock again and fill with fresh water (or steriliser if you prefer) to avoid bugs starting to breed in the airlock and eventually contaminating the wine.

Cheers, Cleaned the bubbler this afternoon, but tonight wine still coming through, should i move to colder place.

If the wine is frothing a cooler place may help. It may also be that you've got a bit too much wine in the fermenter. A gap of a a couple of cm under the bung is normally about right. You can ease the bung out a bit temporarily if necessary - just remember to push it back in later.
